Q. How do I get a picture of my car in the Club members rides section

A.As a SS BOYS club member just Email us the picture and car info info details about your car year, make, model, your name and town along with engine and trans and I will get it your it up in our " MEMBERS CAR PHOTO GALLERY" page

Q. I just became a member of the website today so why do I see I am only a "LIMITED" member

A. All new members automatically default to "Limited" member status initially for Security. After Review You will become a "Full" member usually within 24 hours.

Q. How can Site Members post a picture in their Profile/Avatar that others will see them as

A. Click on your Member Profile, "Edit Profile" under the Main Tab. Then you will be taken to a new page where there is the option to upload your image.

Q. I am not a member of the SOUTHSIDE BOYS CLUB and was just recommended to your website, can I still join your website as a member?

A.Yes for now we do not require SOUTHSIDE BOYS CLUB Membership to join our site. Please feel free to join our community. To join the “WEBSITE” as a member go here: http://www.southsideboysofli.com/apps/auth/signup or i can personally send you an invite to join as well.

Q. I Have An AOL Email Address/Account And I Know That I’m On The SS Boys Member Email List But I Am Not Receiving Any Emails From The Club. What Should I Do??

A. *** Please Note *** You Could Always Get An Alternate Free Email Address From Google Gmail, Microsoft Hotmail Or Yahoo As A Few Choices If You Continue To Have Problems Receiving Legitimate Emails To Your AOL Account, Then Put In A Request For Your New Email Address To Be Updated In The SS Boys Member List.

Also You Might Want To Check/Adjust Your AOL Email Spam Settings.

Special Spam Setup Instructions For All AOL Email Users With Issues Receiving Email (Including Club Email) That Might Be Helpful:

Login To Your AOL Email Account

Select Settings Upper Right Corner

Select Spam Settings On The Left

Set Spam Filter To Low

Leave Content Filter Blank Without Selection Of Any Blocked Mail Boxes

Sender Filter:Select Block Mail From Addresses Specify

Blocked Mail:Select Deliver Blocked Mail To Spam Folder

Hit The Save Button To Save These Settings

Check Your Spam Folder Often For Legitimate Emails That AOL is Preventing To Deliver To Your Inbox.

Q.How do I post an item for sale?

A.As a SS BOYS Club Member, you can then Email us at southsideboysofli@gmail.com and include any pictures, info details about the car year, make, model, your name and town along with engine and trans and I will get your ad up in our " FOR SALE-- CARS & PARTS" page

Q. I am a SOUTHSIDE BOYS member of the Club, and I was wondering how I can go about getting a few shirts and stickers and how much they cost.

A. To obtain “SOUTHSIDE BOYS” shirts and stickers, it must be done in person for now. The Price for our official SS BOYS Stickers is $5.00 and our Shirts are $15.00 Joey C usually has inventory in stock with him when at the following cruise nights. Here are a few options of where we are weather permitting:

* * *  Another option is at Dunkin Donuts Hempstead Tpke Levittown on many nights from 6PM on, or cruise nights from 8PM on. To obtain the “SOUTHSIDEBOYS” shirts and stickers at Dunkin Donuts you can just email me (your phone number if you want me to call you) your size and preferred colors choices with the nights when you can make it up to Dunkin Donuts. I will then coordinate to try to have your shirts/stickers available on those nights for you.

Q. Can site members upload photos and videos through their profile tabs?

A. The Members Profile Page “Photos” and “Videos” tabs show what the members have uploaded (contributed) using (at) the MEMBERS CAR PHOTO GALLERY and MEMBERS CAR VIDEO GALLERY Pages.

For now at this time, due to some technical limitations the Webmaster and Moderators generally post all photos. However Website Members could be granted temporary access for 24 hours upon request to add their photos to the "SITE MEMBERS CAR PHOTO GALLERY" Album using the "MEMBERS CAR PHOTO GALLERY" page.

Website Members always have open access to add their videos using the MEMBERS CAR VIDEO GALLERY page.

The Member Profile Photo tab reflects what photos the member has uploaded (contributed) to the site, and the Member Profile Video tab reflects what videos the member has uploaded (contributed) to the site.

If you look at my Member tabs you will see the videos and photos that I have uploaded through the respective MEMBERS CAR VIDEO and PHOTO GALLERY Pages and not thru uploading at my profile tabs which is not possible (it does not have that capability)

You can post videos at anytime, give it a shot with the Videos page, try uploading one and then you will see that video under your Member Profile Videos tab.

You can also post photos, just let me know when you want to upload photos to the "SITE MEMBERS CAR PHOTO GALLERY" Album using the“MEMBERS CAR PHOTO GALLERY" at http//www.southsideboysofli.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=12407443

Then I will open access to the SITE MEMBERS CAR PHOTO GALLERY album for you to upload your photos to (you must Log In First) for 24HRS. You will then see those uploaded photos under your Member Profile Photos tab.

Q. I received an junk email saying they saw my email on your site then sent me a picture too. What measures do you take?

A. As for our site We implement very strict privacy security measures that we take very seriously:

We try to avoid displaying all site/club members emails/last names at the site in any way. We also encourage all members to adhere to this as well by never displaying their own personal info in any of their personal postings at the site.

In emailing campaigns, a member’s email address is not displayed even to other fellow members! (“UNDISCLOSED RECPIENTS”)

In order to post or interact at the site even as a guest in any way. you must first request to join as a site member and only then be approved as a member to avoid any spamming.

Also keep in mind that you should NOT use your email prefix as your login username. For example your Login username is “HOTROD” (publically displayed) and your private email is “HOTROD”@anyserver.com ” (NOT publically displayed) To avoid the HACKER ROBOTS crawling the net (especially like Car sites that would have male members) with all kinds of built in algorithms to stumble onto and then spam your email address
